Remember that one post about a site that allows you to ship your enemies glitter? Well, the owner of the now infamous internet service is 1) claiming the site made over xx,xxx dollars since launch, and 2) the site is now for sale. That’s right, the web app genie Mathew Carpenter is already throwing in the towel, claiming that the site was a mistake and users should stop using the service.
The owner has gone as far as to list the website for sale to the highest bidder. With that much money inside of a week, I could imagine this being sold fairly fast considering a lot of the players in the tech space. This would be a fun company for a start-up angel to buy for another start up angel and deliver the news in a huge box filled with glitter.
ShipYourEnemiesGlitter with 1m visits, 270k social shares, $xx,xxx in sales, tonnes of people wanting to order. 24 hours old. For sale.
